We Create Experiences.

Ume Hospitality Group is based in NY specializing in creating niche experiences. Our ever-growing portfolio of restaurants.

Ume Williamsburg

Ume Williamsburg

With a subtle touch of nostalgia for the past, Ume looks like a little cottage house you might find tucked away on an old, weathered street, off the beaten path—reminiscent of how things used to be.

Ume does not aim to be authentically anything. It is its own concept, with its own artistic and culinary direction.

Shinn East

Shinn East is a concept headed by Chef Mike, one of the youngest sushi chefs in New York. Despite his age, he has been part of the East Coast sushi scene for a decade.

At Shinn East, Chef Mike personally curates rich and diverse ingredients, inspired by his journey in the sushi world and the whimsical things he encounters in daily life.

Sekai Omakase

Sekai Omakase

Sekai is a take on a more traditional approach to sushi. With a strong focus on ingredients, Sekai highlights the best flavor of every piece.

The restaurant is helmed by Head Chef Eddy Yang, who began his career at the three-Michelin-starred Masa—starting from assisting in the kitchen to becoming a sushi chef. After nearly a decade there, he went on to work at Sushi Nakazawa and then Sushi Azabu.

Sanyuu West

Sanyuu West, located in the heart of Chelsea, features an omakase inspired by flavors from around the world.

From Japanese sudachi to Spanish bottarga, you’ll see—and taste—it all.

We welcome you to dine at Sanyuu with an open heart.

THIRTEEN WATER

THIRTEEN WATER

We see sushi as a blank canvas—waiting to be painted and transformed.

Layered with fresh, cooked, or smoked ingredients, each topping adds a new element that elevates the experience of every piece.

We don’t strive to be authentically anything. Instead, we follow our own culinary direction, creating unique pieces with distinct flavor profiles.

Sushi Nikko

Tony and Andy, formerly chefs at Bondi Sushi founded Sushi Nikko with the goal of bringing a great sushi experience, even outside of the sushi bar.
